Writing
or typing?
Clubs
sometimes query whether the minutes of committee meetings need to be hand
written into the appropriate minute book.
There
is nothing wrong with having typed or word-processed minutes as long as they are
accompanied by notes taken at
the meeting which are dated and which are readily
accessible and are shown to be signed by the Secretary at the next meeting. Some
people even use the ring binders and again this would be acceptable provided
each page was signed by the Secretary so that there could be no fraud involved.
